Society of Philippine American Artists Annual Exhibit, 2016

The annual art exhibit by the Society of Philippine American Artists (SPAA_ is scheduled for October 10-21, 2016 at the Philippine Center, 556 Fifth Ave., New York, NY. We invite other artists and art enthusiasts alike to visit the show in the ground floor gallery during the opening hours of 9:00am – 5pm, Monday to Friday.

SPAA was initially founded in 1993 under the leadership of Manuel Rodriguez , Sr. Artists based in the NY/NJ area covering a variety of media such as print making, oil, watercolor, sculpture, and mixed-media were brought together to celebrate their shared Philippine heritage and interest in visual arts. The group continues to create exciting artworks of all genres.

For this upcoming exhibit “Change,” 23 visual artists will be showcasing their work: Alan Alejo, Aurora Caparas-Corpuz, Reynaldo G. Cardenas, Cheryle Cranbourne, Mars Custodio, Angelito L David, carlos L Esguerra, Maricor B Fernandez, Lenore RS Lim, Greta Lood, Athena Magcase-Lopez, Angelo Maristela, Racco Maristela, Esmie, Gayo McLaren, Chat Morando, Mirinisa H Myers, Ameurfina H Nazario, Mae Palaci, Godfrey Pinder, Archie Reyes, Ching Valdes-Aran, Lulu Villamater, Art Zamora.

Opening Reception is on Tuesday, October 11 from 6:00 to 8:00pm.
