SPAA 2025
Colors of New York
October 13 -24 2025
Opening Reception October 13, 6-8pm by invite only

New York State has one of the most colorful seasons in the country
and shows off the beauty and charm of each season— spring,
summer, fall, and winter. The landscape in spring and summer
transforms into all shades of greens, whites and pinks of the cherry
blossoms, a time perfect for evening stargazing. In fall, the hues
change into vibrant red, orange, and yellow that hikers can enjoy.
New York in winter is magical and remains colorful amidst the snow,
adorned in festive holiday decorations, and opportunities to
experience winter activities.

New York is also beaming with magnificent structures that reflect the
time of the day and the mood of the artist who captures the moment.
Finally, as New Yorkers, we take pride in our colorful heritage and
variety of cultural events that make us uniquely a melting pot.

SPAA celebrates its latest annual exhibit, “Colors of New York”, this
October, starting the 13th to the 24th. The exhibit is an expression of
SPAA’s advocacy for Fil-Am artists and aims to be a reflection of our
changing times, and features visual artists from Canada and the

talented group includes writers, poets, and musicians.
