His work has been exhibited internationally—in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Hong Kong, Indonesia, and the Middle East—and has been featured on commemorative stamps by the Philippine Postal Corporation. Pangan’s contributions to Philippine art have earned him numerous accolades, including the Most Outstanding Kapampangan Award (2006), UE Alumni Achiever Award (2006), and the Bituin at Bayani Award from the City of Malolos (2015).

Beyond his studio practice, Pangan has served as president of Lakan Sining ng Bulacan, a member of the Saturday Group of Artists, and an art consultant for cultural festivals.
