Loren San Diego is a multidisciplinary Filipino-American artist whose creative practice spans music, photography, and public art. Born in the Philippines and raised in the United States, she brings a cross-cultural sensibility to her work, blending technical precision with emotional warmth.
A classically trained pianist, Loren founded Piano Playground, a home-based studio where she teaches children and continues her own studies at the New York Conservatory of Music. Her approach to music is rooted in joy, serenity, and lifelong learning.
In visual art, Loren is a portrait photographer specializing in family and childhood imagery. Her work captures quiet moments of connection, often traveling across New York, New Jersey, and Connecticut for commissioned shoots.
In 2018, Loren joined Sing for Hope’s public art initiative, designing the piano titled Branched Birds, which was displayed at the Brownsville Recreation Center and later permanently housed at West Brooklyn Community High School. Her design fused nature and music, symbolizing peace and shared creativity.
With a background in engineering and business, Loren brings a thoughtful, interdisciplinary lens to her artmaking. Whether through melody, image, or public installation, her work reflects a deep commitment to beauty, education, and community.
