He lives and works in Brooklyn, New York. In his 2009 Exhibit “Altered Landscapes,” he paired up photographs of his home in the Philippines and those in Brooklyn by sewing them together in contrasting and complementing compositions. His series Cityscapes/Dreamscapes are reflections of his immigrant experience. His ongoing project “Traces” is made up of picture magnified lint, which he composes as a starting point of recollections. His group shows in 2008 were “Metro 25” at the Jersey City Hall, the Eagle Art Gallery, at Exit Underground, and in 2009 at the Hunterdon Art Museum, His work has been cited in reviews of the 2007 exhibit “City without Walls” by Dan Bischoff in the New Jersey Star Ledger and Benjamin Genocchin in the New York Times.
