He was special effects artist in Hollywood, and as computer animation artist-teacher in Boston. In 2004 he held his first exhibit of cartoon paintings called “Smile Project.” Sold out, he decided to continue painting, leaving them for free in public places in San Francisco, Boston, New York, and across the globe. To each piece, he attached a message of hope. His works were featured in ABC7, Smithsonian Magazine, Readers’s Digest, San Francisco Chronicle, and subject of a 128-page book by Gingko Press.
