LIONGORENS at The Philippine Center

In cooperation with The Philippine Center 556 Fifth Avenue New York City ,New York USA, Liongoren Gallery of New York Cubao , Quezon City, Philippines presents Liongoren family art exhibit from July 6 to July 17,2015 at the said venue. Alfredo”Fred” Liongoren, noted Filipino artist of the last 5 decades in the Manila contemporary art scene is joined by his two sons Erik, ace art photographer,and Avid,a consummate artist with his digital art,drawings and animated videos.

Fred is a product of the University of the Philippines College of Fine Arts (UPCFA) and the Byam Shaw School of Painting and Design on a British Council grant in the late 70’s. AVid is likewise a graduate of UPCFA and Erik is a self- taught master of his medium. The show is a peek into the lives of the ordinary Filipino mostly children from rural to urban milieu, struggling but smiling their way under the azure blue skies and seas of fun -filled Philippines.
