Filipino artist Manuel D. Baldemor is a painter, sculptor, printmaker, writer, and book illustrator. He has held numerous solo art exhibitions in museums and galleries in the Philippines and cities around the globe. Throughout his career, he has received several awards in the Philippines as well as numerous collaborating with the French Ministry of Arts and Culture (1985), the China Exhibition Agency (1987), the Ministry of Culture, Egypt (1990), the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (1998), the Fundação Oriente of Portugal (2004), and in Latvia and Estonia (2006). He was artist-in-residence in Chile, Estonia, France, Mexico, Israel, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, and Portugal. For 18 Successive years, reproductions of his works adorn UNICEF greeting cards and are distributed worldwide.
