The Philippine Consulate General Of New York and the Association Of FIL-AM Teachers Of America, INC. (AFTA) present Paaralan Sa Konsulado 2014 (Summer School at the Philippine Consulate).

 

The Paaralan sa Konsulado is a summer workshop for Filipino-American children age 6 to 16. It’s aim is to provide children born and raised in the USA opportunities to learn about their culture and heritage, and to offer a better understanding of their roots.

It runs for 5 Saturdays with Participants learning about Filipino values, heritage, arts, songs, dances, games, customs, traditions and conversational Filipino.

Classes will be held for five Saturdays:
June 28, July 12, 19, 26, and August 2
9:30am to 3:00pm
