Cesar de los Santos III is a Filipino painter whose works reflect both cultural heritage and contemporary sensibilities. He studied Fine Arts in the Philippines and has exhibited locally and internationally, including at the Philippine Center New York, where his art was presented alongside fellow Filipino artists.
De los Santos was a scholar of the Saturday Art Group (1987–1989) and of Pilipinas Shell (1990). He won Second Prize at the Shell National Students Art Competition (NSAC) in 1989, and was a finalist at the Metrobank Art Competitions from 1987 to 1989, achievements that established his reputation early in his career.
He has held both solo and group exhibitions. His solo show, “Light and Shadow” (Philippine Center, 2006), showcased his mastery of figurative and abstract painting. His group exhibitions include the Juried Hudson Artists Group Show in New Jersey (2004), the City Gallery in Manila (1989), and the USSR Embassy in Manila (1989).
Known for his expressive brushwork and strong sense of color, De los Santos often paints themes inspired by everyday life, tradition, and identity. His works balance emotional depth with cultural resonance, affirming his place among contemporary Filipino artists.
