Bono Albania
From a young artist with dreams at just 10 years old to a brilliant mind in business management, Bono’s creative pause lasted a few years—but his passion has been reignited!
After earning a degree in Interior Architecture from the prestigious Chelsea School of Arts in London, Bono spent 23 transformative years there before embarking on an exciting adventure in Hong Kong. His artistry flourished alongside his dedication to charity, joining Pintura Circle, a non
-profit organisation with 5 other Filipino artists worked to uplift the needy in his homeland, the Philippines! There he made seascape and still life bursts with energy while his abstract works invite deep introspection. He joined various group art exhibitions that raised substantial amount for the disaster stricken provinces in the south.
Now calling New York home for the past 11 years, Bono’s art radiates joy and vibrancy! Recent works were a collection of nature’s beauty through hyper-realistic floral paintings in rich oils that echo his horticultural roots! Exhibit highlights include exhibiting with The Society of Philippine-American Artists at Likha Gallery and showcasing his talents in a dynamic group exhibition in Milan!
Bono’s artistic journey continues to evolve, and his newest works are nothing short of breathtaking! Embracing the powerful style of dramatic realism, he intricately weaves emotion and depth into each portrait, capturing the essence of his subjects in hauntingly beautiful detail.

Artist Statement:
In my experiences making paintings, the completed works often effectively bridge my conscious mind and my audience, thereby providing an evolutionary affirmation that we are not alone. My
interest in creating art is rooted in my understanding that artistic creation erases the barriers
between the phenomenal world and my imagination by allowing me to explore my sensory
experience, my emotions, my intuitive reactions, my love of nature, my complex social
relationships, and, eventually, my place in the cosmos in the imaginative worlds inside my
imagination. When I am engaged in making art, I think more deeply, and time moves more
slowly than at any other time in my life. My mind becomes absorbed within an ever-rotating
cycle of images, ideas, memories, and perceptions that meld as I wrestle the chaotic flow of
elements into a harmonious whole. My paintings provide a portal to a direct experience of the
natural beauty, excellence, and energy that drives our social, intellectual, spiritual, and
biological evolution.
