LAKBAY SINING SA AMERIKA AT THE PHILIPPINE CENTER, NEW YORK ON JULY 1-12, 2019
Galleria Camaya, together with the Philippine Consulate in New York are proud to present talented and award winning artists from the Philippines to the “Lakbay Sining sa Amerika” exhibit to be shown at the Philippine Center on 5th Avenue, New York from July 1-12, 2019. This is the second time Galleria Camaya has partnered with overseas Philippine Consulates/Embassies to showcase Filipino Artists, the first being the show in Vienna in October, 2018.
Gail Camaya-Hills’, owner of Galleria Camaya, passion is driven by her singular vision to promote and connect Philippine art to the international scene starting from Hong Kong where she first introduced Philippine Art at the bi- annual Asian Contemporary Art Show in 2016.
Galleria Camaya’s roster of artists includes Manila- based, Hong Kong- based as well as a New York based artist, all Filipinos. These are Bono Albania , Ejem Alarcon, Jepoy Almario, Jaime Raphael Atienza, Gerrico Blanco, Ronald Buxani, Grace Pineda Camacho, Astrid Hernandez Castillo, Richard de la Cruz, Ronald “Bullet” Dematera, Alvin Florentino, Mary Rose Gisbert, Jaime Gubaton, Abigail Camaya Hills, Dondon Jeresano, Norlie Meimban, Keith Paras , Jojo Ramirez, Stella Tansengco Schapero, Rowel Vicencio and Janeth Marticio- Weil.
