PPB started as group of Pinoy photography enthusiast in Flickr, an online gallery of images ranging from landscape, portraits, street and event photography and everything you can imagine. Originally named “Photo Buddies sa East Coast” and later renamed to “Pinoy Photo Buddies of NY & NJ” ( PPB) to become more local . Ninety Eight (98) percent of our members reside in NY and NJ but we also have members from PA and CT as well.
We had our official photowalk in November 2010, thus our group anniversary month. With more than 50 photowalks all over NY, NJ and PA, and 4 National State Parks in our
group’s young history, we strive to be an inspiration to every Filipino by showcasing our love and passion for photography. From being a purely hobbyist group (most our core members) to members who chose to bring it up levels above and become professional event photographers and business owners.
This 2016, we are celebrating our 6th year anniversary and it is with great honor and privilege to showcase some of our members spectacular images through our very first photo exhibit. We look forward to more photowalks, meet new photo buddy members and continue to be an inspiration to each one of us. Mabuhay PPB!
