Victor Cabisada Jr. found his voice by alternating between the grand scale of public storytelling and the intimate beauty of the home. His work is a study in versatility, defined by a technical precision that feels both deliberate and full of life.

Cabisada Jr. is perhaps most celebrated for his massive collaborative murals, specifically those at the Philippine Children’s Medical Center. In these works, he translated ancient Filipino folklore—such as the creation myth of Malakas and Maganda—into a modern visual language designed to inspire and comfort. His ability to render the human form within a mythic context established him as a key narrator of the Filipino spirit during the late 20th century.  

However, his mastery is equally evident in his floral still lifes. In these more private compositions, he captures the lush, tactile quality of tropical blooms with a rich palette and controlled light.
